To facilitate the easy integration of ActiveAccess multi-factor authentication within an organisation's existing processes, GPayments provides a simple client software called ActiveDevice Plug-In (DPI).
This easy to use software manages the connection and exchange of messages with the ActiveAccess Authentication Server. As security is of the upmost importance, the DPI manages;
- protocol level messages,
- SSL connection,
- provision of client certificates and
- signing and verification of digital signatures
to ensure communication between client application and ActiveAccess Authentication Server remains uncompromised. DPI services can be accessed via a number of interfaces that can be easily called from an organisation's secure application.
